Isha Hata Yoga Teachers

Isha Hata Yoga teachers have undergone an intensive 6-months training programme at the Isha Yoga Center situated at the foothills of the sacred Velliangiri Mountains in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Southern India. Established by Sadhguru as a sacred space for self transformation, the Isha Yoga Center provides an atmosphere conducive for any spiritual seeker. The Center houses many elements that make it a place of tremendous energy and dynamism.

The intensive training process focused on establishing awareness and experiential understanding of the yogic practices in the teachers through a step-by-step rigorous training in methodology and in conducting programs.

Due to its nature, the class is equally suited for beginners and advanced practitioners.

Surya Kriya is a potent yogic practice of tremendous antiquity designed as a holistic process for health, wellness and complete inner wellbeing. “Surya” means sun, and “Kriya” means inner energy process. Surya Kriya activates the solar plexus within the system and balances a person’s energies, leading to stability of the body and stillness of the mind. This strong foundation becomes the basis to explore higher dimensions of life.

Traditionally available only to select groups of yogis, Surya Kriya is being offered by Sadhguru as a comprehensive spiritual practice that is ideal for the hectic pace of today’s world.

Surya Kriya includes several aspects that enrich one’s life:

  • Develops mental clarity and focus
  • Remedies weak constitutions
  • Boosts vigor and vitality
  • Balances hormonal levels in the body
  • Prepares one for deeper states of meditation

Enhances the elements and benefits of Surya Namaskar (if already practicing it)

Surya Kriya is different from Surya Namaskar in that the original practice or the real practice is Surya Kriya. It is a way of aligning yourself with the sun and it is a much more refined process which needs enormous attention in terms of the geometry of the body.Surya Namaskar is a country cousin of Surya Kriya.There is also another process called Surya Shakti, which is a far-off relative. If you want to use this system as just a physical exercise to build muscle, to become physically strong, you do Surya Shakti. If you want to build muscle, be physically fit, you want to do aerobic exercise where your heart becomes strong and you also want to have a spiritual element in it, you do Surya Namaskar. If you want a strong spiritual process in the physical process that you are doing, then you do Surya Kriya

Isha Yogasanas (Yogi Package)

Learn the full Isha Hatha Yoga sequence of Yogasanas in its full depth and dimension in a consecrated space. With this package you will receive additional follow-up sessions so you can get corrected and get in-person support even after the workshop is over. There will be a one weekend session of weekly evening sessions for at least the first month after you learn so that you can deepen the process.

Angamardana, a fitness system rooted in yoga, means gaining complete mastery over the limbs, organs, and other parts of the body. True to its name, this practice revitalizes the body on all levels including the muscles, circulatory system, skeletal structure, nervous system, and the basic energy system.
