Isha Hata Yoga Teachers

Isha Hata Yoga teachers have undergone an intensive 6-months training programme at the Isha Yoga Center situated at the foothills of the sacred Velliangiri Mountains in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Southern India. Established by Sadhguru as a sacred space for self transformation, the Isha Yoga Center provides an atmosphere conducive for any spiritual seeker. The Center houses many elements that make it a place of tremendous energy and dynamism.

The intensive training process focused on establishing awareness and experiential understanding of the yogic practices in the teachers through a step-by-step rigorous training in methodology and in conducting programs.

Angamardana, a fitness system rooted in yoga, or ultimate yoga workout, offers everyone the opportunity to invigorate the body and reach peak physical and mental health.

​‘Angamardana’ means gaining complete mastery over the limbs, organs, and other parts of the body. True to its name, this practice revitalises the body on all levels including the muscles, circulatory system, skeletal structure, nervous system, and the basic energy system.

​The practice is taught with simple, guided instructions provided by an accredited Isha™ Hatha Yoga teacher, and can be practiced thereafter at home. Regular practise sessions are also offered at the studio.

The word asana literally means a posture. Out of the innumerable asanas a body can assume, 84 have been identified as Yogasanas, through which one can transform the body and mind into a possibility for ultimate well-being. By consciously forming the body into a certain posture, one creates a conducive passage for energy flow that can elevate one’s consciousness.

Yogasanas are a way of aligning the inner system and adjusting it to the celestial geometry, becoming in sync with the existence, thus naturally achieving a state of health, joy, bliss and above all balance.

The practice of Yogasanas provides countless benefits including:

Während Surya Kriya traditionell nur einer ausgewählten Gruppe an Yogis zugänglich war, bietet Sadhguru ihn nun als umfassende spirituelle Praktik, welche ideal für die Hektik des modernen Lebens geeignet ist.

Wenn du dieses System als Fitnessübung zum Muskelaufbau verwenden und einen starken Körper entwickeln möchtest, dann mach Surya Shakti. Wenn du die Muskulatur stärken, körperlich fit sein möchtest und eine kardiovaskuläre Übung für ein kräfitges Herz mit einem spirituellen Element suchst, dann ist Surya Namaskar geeignet.     In this three weeks program, we will dedicate two evenings each week to work on the spine.  We will learn a series of gentle but effective movements to strength the spine and stimulate the root of spine to enhance the development and activity of the brain.
    These spine health related practices are gentle and safe to learn. They are suitable for all age groups.  Any previous experience in yoga is not necessary.
