It is my wish and my blessing that you make use of this Mahashivaratri night to enhance your perception, to have a taste of a larger slice of life. – Sadhguru

Mahashivratri, one of the largest and most significant among the sacred festival nights of India, celebrates the Grace of Shiva, the Adiyogi, from whom yogic sciences originate. The planetary positions on this night are such that there is a powerful natural upsurge of energy in the human system. It is enormously beneficial for one’s physical and spiritual wellbeing to stay awake and aware in a vertical position throughout the night.

This is an opportunity to really focus on your sadhana. Experience the lifestyle of the ashram without having to travel to India.

Staying in a beautiful simple building in the Swiss forest, with no neighbours or distractions, you can immerse yourself in yoga and meditation.

For the night of Mahashivaratri, we will follow the webstream from the ashram, and also be in the company of AdiYogi himself, in the form of a consecrated linga inside a form of AdiYogi identical in shape but smaller than the one in the ashram.

Different lengths of stay (up to 11 days for voulnteers or 9 days for participants) and levels of involvement will be available. You can focus on practices you already know, learn new practices or come as a volunteer and create the opportunity for others to make use of the time without distractions to focus on their inner wellbeing.
